HIKE CLUB 12 — STANAGE EDGE & HIGGER TOR 🥾⛰️

For Hike Club 12 we’re heading back to the Peak District for a brilliant circular taking in two of the area’s most iconic spots — Stanage Edge and Higger Tor.
Starting from Hathersage, we’ll make our way out onto the moors before climbing up to the dramatic gritstone escarpment of Stanage Edge. From here we’ll follow the edge, with huge views across the Hope Valley and surrounding Peak District.
We’ll then continue across the open moorland towards Higger Tor, another classic Peak District viewpoint, before looping back towards Hathersage.
Expect gritstone edges, purple heather, open moorland and some incredible views along the way. 💜

This is a social hike, not a race. We’ll move at a steady group pace with plenty of opportunities to stop, take in the views and have a chat along the way.
