Twilight Hike Club 6 - Langsett Reservoir
Join us for a summer evening in the Dark Peak, exploring the moorland, woodland and waterside trails surrounding Langsett Reservoir.
At this time of year, the surrounding moors come alive with purple heather, making August a particularly beautiful time to explore this part of the Peak District. 🌿💜
Our circular route will be approximately 8–10km, taking us from the reservoir through woodland and up onto the open moors for some brilliant views across the landscape. Along the way, we’ll visit the atmospheric remains of North America Farm, an abandoned moorland farmstead overlooking the reservoir.
The route is generally accessible, with one short, steep climb, which we’ll tackle at our usual steady Hike Club pace.
