Kinder Scout - Hike Club 8
Hike Club 8 – Kinder Scout
This week marks 75 years of the Peak District being a National Park — the first in the UK.
So it feels right that for Hike Club 8… we head back to the Peaks.
And not just anywhere — Kinder Scout. A place that’s more than just a hike. This is where the famous Mass Trespass took place, helping shape the access to the countryside we all enjoy today. There’s a bit of history in every step up here.
Expect a proper day out. Rolling moorland, rocky edges, wide views, and that wild Kinder plateau feeling where it feels like you’re a long way from everything. This isn’t about rushing — it’s about getting out, putting one foot in front of the other, and sharing the miles with good people.
As always, Hike Club is about more than just the hike. It’s about meeting new people, having a laugh along the way, and finishing the day better than you started.
Whether you come solo or with mates, you’ll be welcomed.
Good for body, better for mind.
🥾❤️
