Hike Club 9 - Lake District - Fairfield Horseshoe
Hike Club 9 – Fairfield Horseshoe ⛰️
📍 Rydal Road Car Park, Ambleside
📅 Saturday 20th June
This time, Hike Club heads back to the Lake District for one of the most iconic mountain days in the UK — the legendary Fairfield Horseshoe.
Starting from Ambleside, we’ll take on a stunning circular route packed with classic Lakeland views, ridge walking, rolling fells and an incredible 8 Wainwright summits along the way. Expect big climbs, rewarding panoramas and that unbeatable feeling of spending a full day moving through the mountains with good people.
The route takes in:
- Low Pike
- Nab Scar
- Heron Pike
- Great Rigg
- Fairfield
- Hart Crag
- Dove Crag
- High Pike
This is a proper mountain adventure and one of our biggest routes yet — but as always, Hike Club is about going together. We’ll hike as a group, take steady breaks, soak in the views, share stories and enjoy the journey just as much as the summits.
Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, you’ll be welcomed into the Hike Club community from the very first steps.
