Burley Woodhead Walk Ticket
Starting from the village of Burley Woodhead, this 10-mile circular takes us up onto Ilkley Moor for a classic mix of Yorkshire gritstone, sweeping views, and wild open skies.
We’ll pass the famous Twelve Apostles Stone Circle, one of the highest stone circles in the country, and take in a trig point along the ridge with panoramic views across Wharfedale. The route blends moorland trails, rocky paths, and gentle descents through heather and bracken, offering plenty of photo stops and fresh air along the way.
We’ll finish back in Burley for a well-earned drink at The Hermit Inn — proudly listed among the Telegraph’s Top 500 pubs — the perfect end to another Hike Club adventure.
