Towering gritstone formations rise dramatically from the valley below, creating one of the most unique landscapes in the National Park.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAlong the way we’ll tick off \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e2 Ethels\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, enjoy sweeping views across the Upper Derwent Valley and experience some of the Peak District’s wildest and most remote-feeling scenery.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e📍 Meet from 9:00am\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e🥾 Prompt start at 9:30am\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e📍 Start Location: Fairholmes Visitor Centre, Upper Derwent Valley\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e🥾 Distance: Approx. 15km\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e⛰️ Ethels: 2\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e📈 Moderate difficulty with some sustained climbs and uneven terrain.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThere are \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003etoilets available at the start\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, however there are \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eno facilities on the route\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, so please come prepared with plenty of water, snacks and anything else you’ll need for the day.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAs always, Hike Club isn’t a race.
