The reservoir was created in the 1960s, flooding the former village of West End, which still occasionally reappears during periods of low water.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe’ll take a steady pace around the reservoir, stopping to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and learn a little about the fascinating history of the valley.
